We are thrilled to announce that the Journal of Engineering Sciences has been accepted for indexing by Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. This is a significant achievement for our journal and reflects our commitment to publishing high-quality research in the field of engineering.

According to Order of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science №832 as of 19.09.2022, students will be granted presidential scholarships. It is valid for the first 2022/2023 term.

On the first World Cup Day among wrestlers in Samsun (Turkey), SumDU students were awarded with two medals.

Both golden medals were taken in sambo.

Yaryna FEDORCHENKO (student of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies) won in the 50 kg weight category. Oleksii HALAKA (student of the Medical Institute) succeeded in the over 98 kg weight category.

On March 1, 2022, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machines and Tools of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologie began the implementation of the international educational grant project Jean Monnet Actions under ERASMUS+ Programme ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH EUGreeCon - 101047527 of «EU consumer policy in conditions of the green and digital transition» (the head - Prof. Dyadyura K.O.) (2022-2025).

On November 17, Sumy State University celebrated the International Students' Day. As part of the festive celebrations, which took place online, the winners of the annual contest "Best Student" were officially announced.

Yaryna Fedorchenko, a first-year student at the TeSET faculty at Sumy State University, won gold in the girls' 40kg weight category at the World Sambo Championships.

The competition was held in Novi Sad (Serbia), the final matches of the World Championship among boys and girls under 18 took place on November 7. Our student defeated a rival from Russia with a score of 3: 0.

On October 28th one of the most significant world ranking agencies Times Higher Education published the results of the subject rankings. Sumy State University showed a great improvement in its position and for the first time presented in the ranking in three subjects at once: “Business and Economics” (ranking group 401-500), “Engineering” (501-600), “Physics” (1001+).
