In order to improve the quality of training of specialists and more rational use of the educational and material base of universities, in pursuance of the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of April 21, 1965 "On measures to further expand and improve the training of specialists for the chemical industry and chemical engineering" -

                                                                                                                     N O T E :       1. To reorganize the Sumy General Technical Faculty into the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, consisting of the following faculties:
- Mechanical Engineering;
- general technical.
     2. The management of universities in the plans of admission for the 1966/67 academic year to provide admission to the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute on a full-time basis in the following specialties
0501 - Engineering technology, metal cutting machines and tools;
0516 - Machines and apparatus of chemical production.
     3. To allow Sumy branch of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute to train specialists in the second stage of training in the following specialties:
- Technology of mechanical engineering, metal cutting machines and tools;
- Machines and apparatus of chemical production.
     4. To divide the department of special disciplines of Sumy branch into two departments:
- Mechanical Engineering Technology;
- Chemical Technology.
