Purpose and objectives of the project:
- To develop the potential of 3 Georgian, 4 Ukrainian and 3 Uzbek engineering universities to implement modern European teaching methods.
- Modernize master's and graduate programs by introducing new interdisciplinary modules.
- Develop a new platform for dialogue between universities and industry to ensure that higher engineering education meets modern technological challenges.
Areas of project activity:
- Analytical study of modern trends and concepts in higher engineering education.
- Comparative analysis of educational programs.
- Development of the concept of reforming higher engineering education.
- Development of interdisciplinary modules for masters and graduate students.
- Development of materials for new courses.
- Creation of interdepartmental design laboratories.
- Short-term refresher courses for university teachers.
- Conducting seminars.
- Acquaintance with European practice and principles of cooperation between universities and industry.
- Creation of joint methodical commissions.
- Development of an action plan for a sustainable dialogue between universities and businesses.
- Quality control of project implementation.
- Dissemination of experience.
- Teaching on updated programs and new modules.
- Education of Georgian, Ukrainian and Uzbek students in the EU.
- Conducting on a regular basis colloquia for retraining of teachers
- Commercial services of interdepartmental design laboratories.
Expected results:
- Analysis of modern European concepts of higher engineering education, comparative analysis of curricula in universities from the EU and partner countries, the concept of reform of higher engineering education, action plan for sustainable dialogue between universities and industry.
- Interdisciplinary modules and relevant teaching materials, which are embodied in master's and postgraduate programs in 7 engineering fields, taught in 3 Georgian, 4 Ukrainian and 3 Uzbek universities.
- Interdepartmental design laboratories and joint methodological commissions established in 10 universities from partner countries.

Teachers of the faculty will carry out fruitful work on the program of Norwegian-Ukrainian cooperation .
The purpose of the program is to provide free assistance to Ukrainian companies in preparing real energy efficiency and renewable energy projects and attracting funding for their implementation.
Areas of cooperation:
Ongoing assistance to Ukrainian companies in project preparation.
Conducting information seminars to identify and prepare new potential projects on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
Training of project developers, preparation of business plans and project ideas (PIN) for new projects.
Cooperation with state authorities of Ukraine and exchange of experience.
Preparation and publication of the manual: "Business planning of projects in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources"
The faculty members are part of a group of experts from Ukraine who, together with Norwegian experts from the Norsk Energi Association of Energy Producers and Consumers, are developing a guide for Ukrainian developers of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects " Business Planning for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects " .
